Mr. Devsiri and Mr. Ananda Hewavidana and Mr. Nishantha went to Thumbe Vidyalaya to deliver the sports equipment purchased by Mr. Nishantha to the school. After that, Mr. Devsiri presented the school with a baffle machine worth about Rs. 70,000 to the surprise and joy of all the children, the new principal Mrs. Nadi Kumari and the teaching staff.
Speaking at the handover ceremony , the school principal Mrs. Nadi Kumari said that she could not believe her eyes when the machine was brought to the school as a surprise gift. She thanked Mr. Devsiri many times for donating a much needed buffle machine to the school with his own money. She further explained that it would be very useful at the morning assembly and various school events She also appreciated Mr. Nishantha’s donation of sports equipment to Thumbe school children who did not have any equipment to play sports. .
A teacher at the school Ms. Renuka Hewavidana explained that her children were using the DC Hewavidana library donated by UKFG everyday with great pleasure. She further explained that the secret to the exam success of many of her children was the library. She said that Mr Devsiri not only help her school, but had also provided books, libraries, badminton courts and various electronic equipment to 17 poor schoolsin Kamburupitiya . She said that the People and children in the town would never forget the omen service provided by Mr Devsiri and his friends at UK Friends of Galle Foundtion
Addressing the children Mr. Devsiri said that he hopes that the bright children of Tumbe School will make the best use of this baffle machine for the next 15 years and said that he will continue to help the children of Thumbe in the future.
Then the children of Thumbe School enthralled the guests with beautiful dances and songs.

තුඹේ විදුහලට බැෆල් යන්ත්‍රයක් පරිත්‍යාග කිරීම
2024 සැප් 6 දා දෙව්සිරි හා ආනන්ද හේවාවිදාන මහත්වරු හා නිශාන්ත මහතා තුඹේ විද්‍යාලයට ගියේ නිශාන්ත මහතා විසින් මිලදී ගන්නා ලද ක්‍රීඩා භාණ්ඩ පාසලට ලබාදීමටය. ඉන් අනතුරුව දෙව්සිරි මහතා විසින් කාරයේ සඟවා ගෙනෙන ලද නවීන තාක්ෂණයෙන් සපිරුනු රු 70,000ක් පමණ වටිනා බෆල් යන්ත්‍රයක් පාසැලට තෑගි දුන්නේ සියලුම දරුවන් හා ගරු නව විදුහල්පතිනි නදී කුමාරි මහත්මිය ඇතුළු ආචාර්ය මණ්ඩලයම පුදුමයටත් අතිශය ප්‍රීතියටත් පත් කරමින් ය.
දෙව්සිරි මහතා විසින් ගෙන එන ලද වටිනා භාණ්ඩ සිසු අයිතියට පැවරීමේ සුලු උත්සවයේදී කතා කළ ගරු විදුහල්පතිනී නදී කුමාරී මහත්මිය පාසලට ඉතාමත්ම අවශ්‍යව තිබූ බෆල් යන්ත්‍රයක් තම පෞද්ගලික මුදලින් පරිත්‍යාග කිරීම ගැන දෙව්සිරි මහතාට අනේක වාරයක් ස්තුති කළේය. ක්‍රීඩා කිරීම සඳහා කිසිම උපකරණයක් නැතුව ලතවුණු තුඹේ පාසල් දරුවන්ට නිශාන්ත මහතා විසින් ක්‍රීඩා භාණ්ඩ පරිත්‍යාග කිරීම තමන් ඉතා අගය කරන බවද එතුමිය ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.
ගාලු මිතුරු පදනම විසින් මුලින්ම තුඹේ විදුහලට පරිත්‍යාග කළ රු ලක්ෂ 8ක් පමණ වටිනා ඩී.සී හේවාවිදාන පුස්තකාලය තම දරුවන් ඉතාමත් ආසාවෙන් පරිහරණය කරන බව විස්තර කළ ආචාරිණී රේණුකා හේවාවිදාන මහත්මිය තම පාසැලට පමණක් නොව පළාතේ දුප්පත් පාසල් 17කට අවශ්‍ය පොත් පොත්පත් පුස්තකාල බැඩ්මින්ටන් පිටි හා නොයෙකුත් විද්‍යුත් උපකරණ පරිත්‍යාග කරමින් දෙව්සිරිමහතා විසින් ඉටු කරන සේවය සදා අමරණීය බව පැවසීය
තුඹේ විදුහලේ දීප්තිමත් දරුවන් තව වසර 15ක් මේ බෆල් යන්ත්‍රයෙන් උපරිම ප්‍රයෝජනය ගනු ඇතැයි කියා තමා බලාපොරොත්තු වෙන බව ප්‍රකාශ කළ දෙව්සිරි මහතා ඉදිරියේදීත් හැකි අන්දමට තුඹේ දරුවන්ට උදව් උපකාර කරන බව ප්‍රකාශ කළේය .
ඉන්පසු තුඹේ පාසැලේ පුංචි දරුවෝ අලංකාර නැටුම් හා ගීතවලින් පැමිණ සිටි අමුත්තන් ප්‍රබෝධයට පත් කළහ. මේ එම සුන්දර අවස්ථාවේ ගන්නා ලද වටිනා පින්තූරයි
